Pastels on Display
Set the scene for spring with a lovely pastel arrangement that will brighten any room.
When creating this type of composition, choose either a single shade or a blend of complementary colors. To enhance texture and color make sure you add foliage to your design. We chose shades of pink with varying hues of light green, and a soft pastel glass Jordan vase. Be sure to utilize varying stem lengths to create height and depth.
Before creating your arrangement, remove any leaves that will sit below the water level of the vase. Start by adding the foliage and then your larger focal flowers. Rotate the vase as you go to make sure the arrangement is symmetrical and level. Layer in the next variety of flower and repeat until all the flowers have been added.
This arrangement will give your table an updated spring look, and would also be fabulous on a sideboard, pedestal, or console table.
