New season… It’s very exciting! New colors, new supplies and yes, new flowers.  The change of season has happened so quickly! We were all surrounded with oranges and yellows for Thanksgiving and fall that we were hardly ready for the fast change that occurred on Black Friday morning. How can we make this transition with a cooler full of fall themed flowers?  There is a way to turn fall flowers to winter flowers – color them!

It’s so easy and it looks so great! We took yellow craspedia and used DipIt Dye and Design Master sprays: Brilliant Silver spray, Brilliant gold, Fresh Green #133 and Poppy #127.  The result is unbelievable – bright globes that will give a nice little touch to almost any arrangement.

Yellow can be a challenging to change to a true red. Most of the time you will get a nice orange color, but it’s not that we want for Holidays isn’t it? =) So we tested 2 products DipIt red and Spray “Poppy” color. Dip it gives us burnt orange with two coloring cycles. Spray “Poppy”, with two layers of paint, gives us great dark red color.
